When words become unclear, I shall focus with photographs. When images become inadequate, I shall be content with silence. [ Ansel Adams ]

Day 14: What I'm Reading
I go through books like water... so mostly I've been downloading epub books on to my Playbook lately, this has really helped me... but I did get a couple physical books out of the library too, and I'm currently reading this.

Day 10: Childhood
Okay, this may be a little laughable...but I'm okay with that.
Bringing back childhood memories today as we went and visited the Hinton Landfill (aka the DUMP). To go to the DUMP back in the summer time in Kincardine was a real treat. If you were lucky, Dad would let you drive the aging back pick-up truck down the country roads a little - this is where I first learnt to drive.
So when my husband asked me to come with him to the dump today I think he might have been surprised when I said HELL YA! Our dump actually has one of the best views in town, so after we dumped everything over, we enjoyed the view.
(My view picture today wasn't very picturesque - it's pretty cloudy and you couldn't really see the mountains so I added you in one from July - this is actually one of the first places I got to go after having J-baby, that time I came just to get out of the house!)
One could say all that dump & renovation experience back from when I was a kid sure set me up for the Hobo-Chic Project.

Day 6: Makes You Smile
these two together never fails to make me smile - they are just adorable together and Daddy is always doing all sorts of crazy things to make J smile like flipping his hat and catching it, blowing raspberries on his belly and sticking his tongue out.

Day 1: YOU
I'll admit it - there sure aren't many pictures of just me anymore, I seem to always be holding a child for some reason... so day #1: YOU, I challenge myself for a picture without anyone else in it....
